The cosmetics industry generates a variety of waste waters. Changing batches of products create the challenge of treating waste water that is continuously changing in its composition and characteristics. Large amounts of waste water are loaded with surfactants, dyestuffs, oils, emulsions and high COD-concentrations and other substances that accrue, especially when switching to a new batch.
